We’re going to be printing a volume 2 of Gremlin Princess incorporating nearly 200 pages after the first volume’s 140 pages. That means I’m going to have to come up with a new cover, do a bunch of graphics file manipulations and insert into InDesign so we can send it off to the printer in order to have them by the San Diego Comix Con where we will be selling them and other stuff from our table in the independent press area. The hiatus should last until early August so we can push on for the final volume #3. Thanks for your patience and if you attend SDCC be sure and come by our table. I’ll post the number when we find out what it is.

As you probably noticed,we have been posting irregularly for the last 6 or 7 weeks.
This after only very rarely missing a page posting Friday for several years now.
The reasons are several, like I’ve just about had it with the infinite lockdown bulls***. Plus
a major 4 day power outage some weeks back (no computer coloring, no lights, no posting),
dental issues and some writer’s block.
I think I’ve finally got things sorted out but still no page this week. I am fairly certain
regular posting will return next week. Let’s hope.

Here’s your chance to support the webcomic. The usual procedure these days is to start an Indygogo or Kickstarter to get the contributions to pay for printing the book. We’ve cut out the middle man by finding a short run printer who does a terrific job. The books themselves are beautiful with a nice cover texture and great color.
But that’s not all! For every order of the Gremlin Princess graphic novel #1 we will include a 8.5×5.5in color art-print signed by the artist, all books will also be signed by the artist. Plus a Digit book mark!

It only recently occurred to me that I’ve been doing the art stuff of a damn long time. Frankly, I don’t want to talk about it. On the other hand, I may was well post some of the stuff that might be of interest – or not as the case may be. Will be adding new art to it every few days. I’m going to have the web gurus do some updating of the site here and will connect the “T” button to it, but right now here’s a link:
Haven’t posted anything in a while, particularly in the “Hey,culture fans!” category. Recently I was checking out another baroque composer, “Georg Philipp Telemann” on Apple itunes. Turns out there’s a rock band of the same name. Not too bad either. In any case, Here’s someone different from Vivaldi. Pretty music but not as vivacious as Antonio V.
I’m posting this from a Starbucks on my wife’s computer so this will be short. On Thursday there was gale force winds in the northwest which resulted in several hundred thousand power outages from Tacoma to the Canadian border. Our power went off Thursday at noon and we’ve been camped in the living from for the last 4 days and finally got power available late today. Unfortunately internet service won’t happen tomorrow – maybe. Okay, the internet got up faster than they told us.
ADD: Our Xmas turkey is now in the garbage can due to no refrigeration. It’s going to be Col. Sanders for the holiday. On last Wednesday, my shoulder angel whispered that I should post the next page that night but my shoulder devil wanted to watch TV. I’ve learned my lesson and will be posting more of the buffer before hand so if this happens again there won’t be any delays. Hope everyone has a lovely holiday.
We’ve now published several color pages after removing the Tremble Theater roughs. We also now have a sufficient buffer to take care of future hickups. The issue now is building up the readership again to our previous levels after what amounts to over a year hiatus. Project Wonderful, where we used to advertise, it now kaputt. If anyone has any ideas along these lines let us know in the comments. Also, if you’re interesting in seeing the webcomic continue spread the word.

Just posted Tremble Theater pg 52 which marks one year of roughs publishing. I originally expected the roughs to go for about 3-4 months. House construction delays, interior refits and moving issues blew that away. Surprisingly, at least according to Google analytics, there’s still a decent audience following the site even with the crappy art. Nothing like when we were well into the story but I had expected worse. I want to thank all those who have followed along with Digit’s “Dream sequence”. I salute you and am hoping to validate your faith in the continuance of the webcomic. The status at this point is that finally, the art production infrastructure (see pic) is once again in place and color art will begin coming out again for the webcomic’s continuity from it’s last point. Unfortunately, it will take a number of weeks to build up a buffer but we will be publishing regularly again soon. The ultimate future of the webcomic will depend on how many people come back or start it from the beginning. Again, sorry about the hiatus but thanks for your support.
